With the Olympics fast approaching Nike wanted to gain interest in China for the event and for their unlimited campaign. I was tasked with developing an experience where people could test their physical fitness in a location in Shanghai. The experience was made up of 5 different parts each with their own different equipment and each with their own different apis we plugin into a central web app. We also had the users scan their Nike ID when entering the experience. When they finished they received a unique WeChat link with a data visualisation of all their results from the experience.
This was a really challenging build of which I led a team. Challenges included not knowing what the equipment was until a few weeks to go, Location and time, the Great FireWall of China and using archaic technology such as ie9.
It was a huge success.
